Obituary for Clemmie L. "Duke" Barrow

Clemmie L."Duke" Barrow, 83, of Bloomington, passed away on Thursday April 19, 2018 at the Stonecroft Health Campus. Duke was born July 31, 1934 in Bloomington and was the son of the late Herschel Barrow and Pearl (Hopper) Barrow
Duke was a Machinist at Otis Elevator and retired after over 20 years of service. He loved his family and was a hardworking husband, father and grandfather.
He married Janet Rose (Meadows) Barrow and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage before her passing in 2006. He was also preceded in death by his son Jack Barrow (2017), sisters, Juanita Good, Juanita Sims, Margaret Edwards, and Patty Brooks, and brother, Clarence "Bud" Barrow
Survivors include 2 daughters; Pam (Lee) Sater and Belinda (Stephen) Massey and one son Thomas Lee Barrow. Also surviving is his sister, Dollie Bartlett, brother Melvin Barrow, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Duke will be from 4-6 pm Monday April 23, 2018 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington.
Services will be at 6:00 pm following the visitation at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Don Griffin officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at Payne Cemetery.
