Robert E. "Bob" Kinser
Robert E. “Bob” Kinser, 86, of Bloomington passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his residence.
Born, August 21, 1931 in Bloomington, he was the son of Zelbert and Mary (Hillenburg) Kinser.
Bob was a self employed Stone Mason and a Race Car Driver.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Bob also enjoyed hanging out with his friends at the Eagles Lodge #1085.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mahala (Reathaford) Kinser of Bloomington, children, Pam Burton (Lloyd), Steve Kinser (Dana) all of Smithville, Randy Kinser, Deeann Messmore (Robbie) all of Bloomington, Mary Roberts (Russell) of Humansville, MO; Nancy Ryan, Paul “Bubby” Jeffries, Sha Jeffries, and Kay Waggner (Ron) all of Bloomington, grandchildren, Wendy, Wade, Stevie, Kraig, Kurt, Tonya, Tammy, Lauren, Bobby Dean, Russell, Tish, Kenny, Joby, Lissette, Jennifer, Wesley, Nikki, Chris, McKayla, Kyle, Kaysie, and Kaleb, several great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Avahnelle Combs, and Delores Houston (Woody).
Bob was preceded in death by a grandson, Clint.
The family will receive friends 1:00-8:00pm Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN 47401.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
