Lisa (Hollars) Sexton
Lisa Kim (Hollars) Sexton, age 56, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at her residence on Friday, August 18, 2017. Lisa was born on April 3, 1961 to Harry E. and Norma J. (Hazel) Hollars in Bloomington. Lisa enjoyed attending races and traveling, and she loved sports, especially the Colts and Indiana University, and she loved kids and her fur babies, Fuzzy, Rambo and Kiki. Lisa was a devoted mother to her sons and grandsons. They gave her such joy. Lisa was a very hard worker and was a housekeeper at Kappa Alpha Theta for many years. She most recently worked for Dan Groff. She was a member of the Moose and Sanders Pentecostal Church.
Lisa is survived by her sons, Adam and Joshua Hollars, adopted grandsons, Seth, Shane, and Sage Hollars, mother, brothers, John Godwin, Ralph (Carol) Osborne, Danny (Teresa) Hollars, and Jed ( Sally) Hollars, several nieces and nephews, and cousins, Nancy Deckard and Julie (Tom) Nulsen.
Lisa is preceded in death by her dad, maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Hazel, aunt, Margaret Brewington, and cousin, Gary Lee Deckard.
Visitation for Lisa will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street, Bloomington, Indiana 47401.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at The Funeral Chapel.
